The Tricktionary

The Tricktionary is a comprehensive windsurfing training book of 292 pages devided into 9 chapters, which show beginners how to start, intermediates how to improve and experts what to train.

With every level taken in consideration the Tricktionary tells beginners about the equipment and guide them through a complete beginner course with all the additional info you'd otherwise have to learn the hard way by yourself. While intermediates can improve their jibes, tacks and 360s - freestyle-enthusiasts will be finally able to follow and learn even the most difficult moves. Windsurfers who want to sail in waves, will find everything they need to know. No matter if you are starting to get into it or if you are already a wave-guru - there is always something to learn!

On high quality photo sequences you can retrace every single movement. Explaining text as well as pre-exercises, problems, proper solutions and Hot tips hasten your learning process!

history

In May 2006 we published our first "Tricktionary - The ultimate windsurfing bible" in four languages (German, English, French and Italian).

After very successful sales in 2006 and 2007 and many requests for additional languages, we decided to remodel our book and translate it to other languages for the new, big print run.

The "Tricktionary 2 - The ultimate windsurfing bible" is the successor of the original Tricktionary. It includes all the information of the first book, but in a new design, new layout, with all new photos - plus a lot of additional content.

We worked on the beginner chapter, included more detailed "windsurfers fitness" pages and of course we added quite some Freestyle moves that were invented since the first book. But the most important new feature is the huge / real / full Wave chapter!

Two photo shoots, each a month, in Dahab (Egypt) and in Maui (Hawaii) were needed to get enough footage to produce the brandnew Tricktionary 2.
